The Kwanmukan Summer Festival was a Smash Hit! Everyone enjoyed the training & fellowship. The food was good. Water balloons helped cool off a lot of people and of course the smores hit the spot! Feedback was very positive. It was a fabulous day with weather and all reports were the Kwanmukan family present had a blast!! There were students & families from all over Ohio and W. Virginia as well. There was something for everyone. It was great to see parents taking part too! Big Thanks to all students, families, Hanshi, Shihan, Sempai, Sempai who came and took part. It was great of Hanshi Robert Saal to drive up from Florida for the event. Thanks to Hanshi Pat Hickey, Shihan Larry Whelan for input with organizing event, Sensei Rich Arter for input and helping set up the Swensons’catering truck, Shihan Pendelton for taking the registrations. Thanks to Kristin Spear, Tom Jansen & Marty Krist will the clean up Appreciation for the teriffic classes by Pat Hickey, Bob Butler, Chris Bader, Lori Backus, Larry Whelan, Traci Miller, Ryan Current. Black Belt training with Kyoshi Dave Ames was well received. Kudos to Sensei Brian Kozak, professional guitarist and his professional singer friend Jeff Negus for their outstanding performance of many popular songs of new and old, especially the Beatles.
