Martial Fight & Fitness® is
… intense, efficient, and effective: you will achieve maximum fitness improvements and results in a short amount of time. Even if you can’t train at the intensity level of the trainer, putting your body through the workouts we’ve designed in our program will improve the condition of your body.
… a full-body strength and conditioning workout: we accomplish this by using the techniques that full-contact martial artists use in their training. The only element we leave out is the physical contact because although you are training like someone who is going to step into a ring, you won’t actually be doing it (but you’ll look like you could)!
… designed to improve your strength and endurance, your abdominal and core strength, and your reactive and explosive power: by focusing on these areas of fitness, your body will become stronger and more lean because you will be burning a lot of calories and fat and improving your muscular strength and tone without bulking up. In the process you will improve your coordination and your muscles will resist fatigue.
… based on martial arts movements, techniques, and strategies and the conditioning workouts that accompany a martial arts curriculum: after completing our program you will have learned enough martial arts skills that you (will be able to / could) easily and comfortably transfer into a martial arts program and hit the ground with running.

Martial Fight & Fitness® is not
… cardio kickboxing: although the program has cardiovascular elements to it, it is not the only part of your fitness that we are focusing on. And it is not kickboxing. Kickboxing is a sport with specific rules and equipment. None of the trainers has a background or ring-experience in kickboxing. So, why would we teach you something in which we are not proficient, capable, and knowledgeable? We have named our program based on what we are proficient, capable, and knowledgeable doing – martial (arts) fitness accomplished through fighting techniques.
… a self-defense course: you will not be taught how to react and respond to situations where your safety might be compromised where you would have to use self-defense techniques. Punching and kicking is not self-defense, although hand and foot strikes could be used in a self-defense situation. We do not make any claims that our program will teach you self-defense. We offer a separate self-defense & assertiveness courses;
… a fighting course: although we use the same training techniques that full-contact fighters utilize, this program is not designed to turn you into a full-contact fighter since you are not being trained to take punches and kicks. You will, however, have the condition and fitness level similar to a full-contact fighter without taking the hits!
… like P90X, Tae Bo, Insanity, TRX, etc. These workouts, which are very beneficial in their own unique way, are not like our program. There are similarities, but there are more differences than similarities. There are aspects of each of these programs in Martial Fight & Fitness, but not the other way around. Plus, there are things that we do in our program that none of these workouts offer.
… a fitness-club membership: we do not have exercise equipment, universal or elliptical machines, treadmills, stationary bicycles, rowing machines, etc. We do not have a pool or indoor running track, racquetball court, basketball court, etc.
… a body-building or weightlifting regimen: Bodybuilding and weightlifting have different fitness goals. The goals of our program are vastly different than the goals of bodybuilding and weightlifting.
